electric locomotive was repaired in the year 1960. After the
reconstruction of the workshop into the modern plant, the projected
capacity is 600 major medium overhaul of locomotives per year. Double-system locomotive series 361

Repairs of locomotive bodies
The
integral part of locomotive repairs are also locomotive body repairs of
all kinds. There are several specialized workplaces in the workshop for
repair of individual structural body parts, where the following kinds
of repairs are available:
- Locomotive
body – all kinds of locomotive body repairs, repairs damaged by force,
gauging by COMBI LASER system
- Collectors
– repairs of all kinds of collectors and testing on a check-out
equipment
- Compressor
repairs – repairs of all kinds of locomotive compressors, testing on a
checkout equipment with printed protocol of test results
- Air
instruments and pipes – complete repairs and testing on a check-out
equipment, pressure test, with protocol of test results
- Air
reservoirs – repairs of all kinds of air reservoirs, air reservoirs
damaged by force, test of defectoscopy and pressure test
- Speedometers
– repairs of all types of speedometers used in railway vehicles, test
on testing equipment Hasler with protocol of test results
- Powerful
and control electronics – complete repairs, set and testing on a
check-out equipment controlled by PC
- Locomotive
weight – set of travelling measures and wheel pressure on a weighing
machine controlled by PC with printed protocol about weighing
- Locomotive
testing stand – functional testing of connection by using of testing
equipment

– finish surfacing by spraying in a spraying box

– all welding system is controled according to STN EN 287-1, STN EN

- Repairs of locomotive bogies
The
integral part of locomotive repairs is the locomotive bogie repairs
plant where all kinds of bogie repairs are carried out. There are
several specialized workplaces for repairs of individual construction
bogie parts in the plant. The following kinds of repairs are possible
to perform there:
- Bogies
cleaning - complete bogie cleaning by means of continuous spraying
machine, grit blasting is available
- Bogie
frame - inspection, repairs of frames damaged by force, measurement by
COMBI LASER system
- Gear
box - common inspection, gear wheel and bearing replacement, repairs of
damaged gear boxes using modern materials
- Brake -
lever assembly and gear repairs, brake units of blocks, brake cylinders
and their functional testing on a check-out equipment
- Springing
- inspection and repair, loading characteristic measurement of springs
and leaf springs on a test equipment
- Wheel
sets - common repairs, replacement of tires and monoblocks, wheel
centres and axles
- Defectoscopy
- suspensions, draw rods, wheel sets and bogie frames
- Bogie
running-in - functional test on a check-out equipment after repair
- Surface
finish - spraying by means of spraying box according to customer’s
requirement
- Welding
- all welding system is controlled in compliance with STN EN 287-1, STN
EN 288-1,2,4 Standards
Except for
these activities it is possible to make all approved working
