ŽOS Vrútky a.s. is introducing a new product for modern night-time travel. The WLABm double-deck sleeping coaches are undergoing comprehensive modernization, combining a proven vehicle concept with enhanced passenger comfort, contemporary design and technologies designed to meet the expectations of today’s travellers.

The modernized coaches feature a fully air-conditioned interior, new sleeping berths, power outlets and USB ports at each berth, a modern passenger information system and new compartment configurations. They also include comfortable private compartments with their own sanitary facilities and shower.

ŽOS Vrútky a.s. presented the first modernized coach in June 2026 at the Rail Business Days trade fair in Ostrava. Today, two modernized coaches are already in regular service on the Humenné–Bratislava route, with plans for their future deployment on the international Humenné–Prague route.

With this project, ŽOS Vrútky a.s. is expanding its portfolio with a modern solution for comfortable night travel on both domestic and international routes.
